Doesn’t it make you feel great when you get to watch your clubbers finish their third Sparks book? It’s a great feeling when we get to hand the clubbers their Sparks Plaque. Doesn’t it put a smile on your face, just thinking about it? It sure does on ours! One of our favorite parts of the Sparks-a-Rama is getting to shake each clubber’s hands and tell them about Sparks Camp-a-Rama.

Take a minute, if you will, and just picture yourself at Sparks Camp-A-Rama with many other Sparks celebrating their achievements! It sure is a great time. We start off the day by skipping through Skipperland, hiking through Hikerland and, yep you guessed it, climbing through Climberland. I promise you, it is a day that you and your Sparks will never forget.

Betty and I feel that they have worked really hard to get finished with their books. That is why we put on a ONE day Sparks Camp. The few seconds we give to them at awards night and at Sparks-a-Rama just isn’t enough.

As Sparks’ director, we would like to personally invite you to camp. It is a day that everyone needs to go to (at least once).

Again, this year we will be at Camp Fairwood on May 22nd. The cost will be $30.00 per person. For your $30.00, you will receive a special Camp-a-Rama T-shirt, juice & a cookie, lunch, bubbles, a picnic supper, and a bunch of souvenirs to remember the day by. Please, take just a little of your time and share this sparks camp-a-rama with your Sparky Plaque winners and their parents.

To register simply duplicate, distribute, and complete a Sparks Camp-a-Rama registration for each clubber and adult attending. YES, we do ask that you bring at least ONE adult for every four children. This will make the day go much smoother. As in the past, a minimum of $10.00 per person must accompany each registration form. PRE-REGISTRATION IS NOT REFUNDABLE, but a substitute is allowed.

Please send the completed registration, along with your check made out to AWANA, to us at the address above. The deadline for registering is Friday, MAY 15th, to reserve your spot, meals, and shirts. Once you have registered, be watching for a letter in the mail to confirm that we have saved you a spot at camp. This is when you will receive a map and more information about what we have planned for you.

PLEASE, mark your calendar now, and plan to spend a day at SPARKS CAMP-A-RAMA with us. We guarentee that this will be a day you WON’T forget! Even SPARKY will be with us for the day! Please feel free to call, if you have any questions or you just need more information.

As a parent and/or guardian, I do herewith authorize the treatment by a qualified and licensed medical doctor of the following person in the event of a medical emergency which, in the opinion of the attending physician, may endanger his / her life, cause disfigurement, physical impairment, or undue discomfort if delayed.

In case of minor, this authority is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach parent and / or guardian.

This release will be in effect starting May 21, 2010 and continuing through May 22,2010.. My signature also serves to indicate my willingness to take full medical insurance responsibilities for my child (or for myself if accompanying adult) and to release Awana Clubs International, Awana Missionaries, and Camp Fairwood from this liability.

WHAT TO WEAR: Camp-a-Rama will be held rain or shine (PRAY FOR SHINE) hopefully outside. Check the weather and dress for Hike in the woods and play outside. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR BEST SMILE!!

The $10.00 pre-registration fee (non-refundable) for each Sparky and adult attending. It would simplify the day if full amount were paid with registration form. PLEASE duplicate the form for each person. SPARKY WILL BE WITH US ALL DAY!

	From I-39 South, take exit 124 (Hwy 21). Go West on Hwy 21 approx. 1 mile to the intersection with Old Hwy 21. At this point you will begin to see signs directing you to Camp Fairwood. Turn left onto Old Hwy 21 (East). The next road you will come to on your right will be 4th Ave. Turn right (South) onto 4th Ave. Follow this road until you come to a stop sign at the intersection of 4th Ave. and CC. Continue through the stop sign on 4th Ave until you come to the intersection with Pleasant Rd. Turn right (West) onto Pleasant Rd. The main camp entrance is directly ahead and on the left. A Camp Fairwood sign will direct you into the driveway. FROM THE SOUTH From I-39 North, take exit 113 (J). Follow J West (towards Westfield) until you come to a stop sign. This will be the intersection of J and CH. At this point you will begin to see signs directing you to Camp Fairwood. Turn right (North) on CH. Follow CH until you come to a small cemetery on the left. Just after this cemetery is 5th Rd. Turn left (West) onto 5th Rd. 5th Rd. will eventually turn into 4th Rd. Follow 4th Rd. until you come around a bend to the right (North). At this point, 4th Rd. turns into 4th Ave. Follow 4th Ave. until you come to the intersection with Pleasant Rd.
